Built Around the Best Hardware in the Bay

Most gyms buy last-decade equipment and call it premium. Mercer Group spent two years spec'ing a floor that reflects what modern training science actually demands: dual-cable stations with 200 lb weight stacks, plate-loaded leg press machines from Watson, a full rack of Eleiko barbells, Technogym cardio pods with real-time output displays, and a turf lane wide enough for sled pushes and sprint work. The result is a 12,000-square-foot facility where the hardware never bottlenecks your program — whether you're running a five-day powerlifting split or alternating between cardio and mobility days. We keep the floor clean, the equipment calibrated, and the ratios tight so you can move when you need to.

Why Mercer Group Hits Different

01

Eleiko & Watson Iron

Our free-weights area runs Eleiko competition barbells and Watson plate-loaded machines — equipment you'd find in professional strength facilities, not typical commercial gyms. Every bar is calibrated, every knurl is sharp, and the collars are always where you expect them.

02

Technogym Smart Cardio

Twelve Technogym Skillmills, bikes, and rowers feed live performance metrics to your phone via the Technogym App. Track watt output, cadence, and zone distribution across sessions so your cardio program has the same data depth as your strength work.

03

Low Member-to-Rack Ratio

We cap total membership at 650 to protect the training experience. That means a squat rack is available at 6 PM on a Tuesday — not a distant hope. Our facility management team monitors real-time floor occupancy and adjusts class scheduling to balance peak demand.

04

Dedicated Recovery Zone

A 1,400-square-foot recovery zone houses Normatec compression boots, a cold-water plunge (50°F), infrared sauna panels, and a full arsenal of soft-tissue tools. Recovery isn't an afterthought here; it's scheduled into the floor plan the same way squatting is.

05

40+ Weekly Class Slots

From 5:45 AM HIIT to Sunday evening yoga, Mercer Group runs 40-plus coached sessions per week across strength, conditioning, and mobility disciplines. Every class has a cap of 14 participants so the coach can actually coach — not just count reps from a podium.

“I've trained at six gyms in the South Bay over the last decade. Mercer Group's strength floor is genuinely the best I've used outside of a university S&C room. The Eleiko barbells, the Watson machines, the amount of space between platforms — it makes a real difference on a heavy deadlift day. Three months in and my total is up 47 lbs.”

“The midnight-coral color palette and dramatic lighting make Mercer Group feel like a place built for serious work, not Instagram selfies. But beyond the aesthetic, the coaching quality at the 6 AM classes is what keeps me coming back. My coach adjusted my hip hinge form on day three and my lower back has felt better ever since.”
